Fifty-nine (59) attended the Fulbright session held on February 9, 2016 from 5:00pm to 7:30pm at the PAEF office. What was intended to be a two-hour session extended to another 30 minutes because of the several stimulating questions posted by many of the participants. The audience was composed of young and experienced professionals, graduate students and two college students based in Metro Manila; and three faculty from De La Salle University-Dasmariñas who for the most part were interested to learn about the application requirements and procedure when applying for the Fulbright Graduate Student Program. PAEF staff discussed the different programs that PAEF administers, in particular, its flagship program – Fulbright and gladly responded to the questions of those in attendance.
Another Fulbright info session will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at the PAEF office. Please send your RSVP at (02) 812-0919 or through our e-mail address email@example.com by February 26, 2016 to reserve a slot.
The purpose of the Fulbright program is to foster mutual understanding between the people of the United States and other countries, including the Philippines.
