Adrian Deil C. Manliclic

Adrian is a Licensed Fisheries Technologist and a faculty researcher at Bataan Peninsula State University. His research is focused on the improvement of aquaculture production and development of aquaculture protocols for emerging (native) aquaculture species. Concurrently, he teaches fundamental and core courses in the Fisheries Program of the University. His more than six years of engagement in aquaculture research has produced a number of significant findings, which he shares thru community extension programs, scientific publications, and presentations in local, national and international conferences.
Adrian earned his Bachelor of Science in Fisheries degree from Central Luzon State University and as a DOST scholar, completed his Master’s Degree in Aquaculture from the same university. In 2015, he garnered first place in the national board examination for Fisheries Technologist. He will be pursuing PhD in Fisheries and Wildlife at Michigan State University where he intends to investigate the influence of pollutants on the growth, survival, and reproductive biology of aquatic organisms. Eager to expand his horizon, he looks forward to meaningful cultural exchange while studying in the United States.
