Cailvin D. Reyes is an assistant professor 2 at the Don Honorio Ventura State University where he teaches English specialized subjects and research subjects in teacher education programs.  He is in the final stages of completing his PhD in English Language Studies at Bulacan State University. He has presented his research outputs to various national and international conferences. In addition, he has published research articles in the field of language education and preservice teaching in various international journals including scopus-indexed journals. 

The Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) program of Fulbright will allow him to immerse himself in international foreign language teaching practices and explore U.S. society and culture. He aims to bring back newfound knowledge and insights to benefit his students and colleagues at the Don Honorio Ventura State University upon his return to the Philippines.
