Cherry E. Azul obtained her Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education Major in Biology at  University of Sto. Tomas- Legazpi.  Ms. Azul finished  Master of Arts in Education, Major in Science Teaching  in the same school. She served as a Biology Teacher at La Consolacion College and a Natural Science Instructor at AMA Computer College. Currently, she works as a Master Teacher II at  Bogna Elementary School, in Legazpi City Division, Department of Education- Region V.  She teaches Science in the intermediate level. She has been a writer of self-learning materials, modules and lesson plans utilized in Legazpi City Division. She also served as facilitator in regional and division level trainings in science.
