Gina A. Crucio, a lawyer by profession, currently heads the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Field Office-Negros Oriental as Director II. The CSC is the constitutionally ordained central human resource agency of the Philippine public sector, having jurisdiction over 1,728,641 government employees (as of May 2019). She graduated cum laude in 1990 at the Saint Theresa’s College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, and was the Leadership Awardee and the Most Outstanding Mass Communication Graduate of her batch. She earned her Master’s Degree in Organization Development at the Cebu Doctors’ University in 2005 and her Law Degree at the University of San Jose-Recoletos in 2009, passing the Bar Examination of the same year. She also earned her Diploma in Development Management from the Development Academy of the Philippines as an Honor Graduate and Best Capstone Paper Awardee.
