Jasmin Balladares-Adasa is a secondary Master Teacher teaching Mathematics from Dapitan City National High School, Philippines. She is a graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics at Jose Rizal Memorial State University, Dapitan City, Philippines. She further completed her Master of Arts in Education at Medina College Foundation, Ozamis City, Philippines where she also gained her complete academic requirements for Doctor in Education. As a classroom teacher for 17 years and as an active Girl Scout school coordinator, Jasmin enjoyed helping struggling students to love Mathematics; mentoring, coaching and guiding the Mathematics teachers in her unit; and initiating, planning and implementing scouting activities in her school. During her stint as an FDAI fellow, she will be studying on bridging the learning gaps in Mathematics as a result of the new normal of education by looking at the best practices, strategies and teaching techniques of US Mathematics teachers. She believes that the impacts of this academic endeavor greatly help her co-teachers and students in her school and district.
