Joshua Suero

A public servant dedicated in alleviating the economic struggles that afflict the Filipino people. Mr. Joshua Elias Fred A. Suero, who graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of the Philippines - Diliman with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics, will be pursuing the Master of Quantitative Economics (MQE) program of the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) to improve his technical capacity as a public servant by specializing on fields relating to monetary economics and central banking. This is in relation to his career of working for the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) under the International Operations Department (IOD) since 2017 where his primary duties include the sound and proactive management of the country's external debt and other foreign exchange transactions as well as the continuous review of the country's foreign exchange regulatory framework to ensure that it remains responsive to the needs of a dynamic and expanding economy.

Mr. Suero is also a man of adventure. In his spare time, he is eager to travel different places in search of new experiences. Relatedly, he has developed a special interest towards photography to immortalize the memorable moments of his trips and to capture beautiful scenes that life has to
