Jude Gabriel I. Español is currently a pre-service teacher pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in English Education at Philippine Normal University - Manila, the country’s National Center for Teacher Education. Alongside his academic endeavors, he serves as a campus journalist and holds leadership positions in several student-led organizations.

Growing up in a financially disadvantaged family, Jude deeply understands the transformative power of education in breaking the cycle of poverty. This understanding has propelled him to become a fervent advocate for sustainable and quality education initiatives.

As a Fulbright scholar, Jude envisions building lasting connections with his fellow scholars through enriching cultural exchanges. He is also eager to recalibrate his leadership skills by assimilating valuable insights and strategies from diverse youth leaders across the globe.

Beyond his commitments as a student-leader, Jude has previously served as a university student assistant. During his leisure moments, he finds solace in immersing himself in novels and enjoying the melodies of Taylor Swift's music.

As an Iskolar ng Bayan, Jude is resolutely committed to giving back to his community. He aims to establish collaborative partnerships and promote mass-oriented leadership initiatives that empower and emancipate individuals from all walks of life.
