Kenneth P. De la Piedra is a teacher at Roxas City School for Philippine Craftsmen, Division of Roxas City. He holds a Master's degree from Filamer Christian University, graduating Summa Cum Laude and Outstanding in Research, and a Doctorate in English Language Teaching from the same university, where he earned an Outstanding in Dissertation honors. His recent research focuses on forensic linguistics, specifically linguistic fingerprint identification, and dialectology, including the accoustic characterization of the Hiligaynon language. He is a TESOL-TEFL certified instructor and a Certified Research Specialist.

An active member of the National Research Council of the Philippines, the National Book Development Board, the Asian Society of Researchers, Educators, and Inventors Inc., the International Congress of Innovation-Based Educators and Researchers Inc., and the Linguistic Society of the Philippines, he has authored two Scopus-indexed research papers as sole author, and presented his work at national and international conferences.

Through the Fulbright program, he aims to immerse himself in U.S. teaching practices, to share Philippine culture, and to build academic linkages that will benefit his home institution and community. Outside work, he mentors young researchers and participates in community literacy initiatives.
