Erick Marco G. Ramos is an Instructor of English Language and Literature at the Philippine Normal University, Faculty of Arts and Languages. He teaches Literary Theory and Criticism, Contemporary Literature, American Literature, English Literature, World Literature, and Teaching Writing. He also works as a freelance policy consultant providing capacity-building support to Philippine based and international corporations, government agencies, and non-government organizations. His research interest is contemporary critical theory and the representation of multifaceted characters in Literature and the media. Also, he is investigating the teaching of critical theory on improving student participation in schools.
