Merilyn Q. Amlani is an Assistant Professor IV at Mindanao State University Tawi-Tawi College of Technology and Oceanography (MSU-TCTO), where she serves as Chairperson of the Food Science and Technology Department. She earned her Master of Science in Food Engineering in Kastamonu University, Turkiye.
She is a registered Fisheries Professional, where her research lies in food and fish processing, food engineering, thermodynamics, and bioactive compounds, particularly the secondary metabolites. Her work focuses on advancing innovative, sustainable, and technology-driven solutions in the food and fisheries sectors.
