PAOLO ALEJANDRINO
Paolo Alejandrino is a multimedia storyteller from the Philippines. Currently, he is a Communication undergraduate student from the Faculty of Arts and Letters of the University of Santo Tomas – Manila. He is a reporter and writer for TomasinoWeb, the premier digital media organization of his university, where he covers politics and governance, justice, and religion. His other works can be found in various publications such as the Philippine Daily Inquirer’s Young Blood and Rappler, among others.
He is also the Marketing Co-Head for TigerTV, overseeing its digital content strategy and developing materials using traditional and new media strategies across social platforms. He was recently awarded the 2022 IBS Media Awards for best event promotions by the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System, the oldest collegiate broadcasting association in the United States of America.
His research interests include digital media, social media, political and global contemporary communications, as well as advertising, which were shaped and influenced by his exposure to numerous editorial works both on- and offline. He hopes to tell compelling stories that would spark meaningful discourse and bring to light the extraordinary in the everyday experiences of Filipinos.
