Raph is a radiologist (Fellow of the Philippine College of Radiology) currently in private practice in Metro Manila and neighboring provinces. He completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology and subspecialty training in Tomographic Imaging (CT-MRI) at the University of the Philippines - Philippine General Hospital (UP-PGH). Prior to shifting to private practice, he worked for five years in UP-PGH, including serving as Chief Resident of Radiology, and helped advance initiatives in operations, policy development, and service delivery.
He is also an avid researcher, having presented papers in neuroradiology, oncologic imaging, and healthcare operations at international conferences hosted by the European Society of Radiology, Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology Society of Europe, and Australia-New Zealand Society of Neuroradiology, among others.
He earned his undergraduate and medical degrees from the UP College of Medicine under the INTARMED program. He graduated with Latin honors, received the Gawad Chancellor award as the University's outstanding student, and placed third nationwide in the 2020 Philippine Physician Licensure Examination. He will pursue his two-year full-time Master of Business Administration at the Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management as a Dean's Scholar, intending to specialize in the healthcare and strategy concentrations.
