Currently, Ronald Manguiat is teaching English for Junior High School students (Grade 7 to 10) at Philippine National School for the Blind. Apart from being a teacher, he is also serving as a coach and trainer for his students in the sports of chess and in different academic competitions locally and internationally. He has also served as national trainer of teachers in the use of Unified English Braille. Just recently, he has been awarded as the most outstanding teacher in the entire Pasay City Division. Ronald finished his college education at Philippine Normal University in 2012. One of the projects that he spearheaded in school was also selected for the second consecutive year as one of the best practices in Pasay. Attending international training like this will certainly benefit him at all instances: his professional growth and development; and most especially that he would be able to share with his community particularly to the learners with visual impairment in his community all the skills that he will gain from this program.
