Sharon Rose is currently a Master Teacher & a Special Education Teacher for the Deaf at Cabadbaran South Central Elementary School in Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte; She earned her degree at the University of Southern Philippines, Cebu City where she finished also her Master of Arts in Education major in Special Education. An awardee as Metrobank Outstanding Teacher in 2014 and a Semi- Finalist in Ramon Aboitiz Foundation in Exemplary Individual in 2018. She was one of the recipients of BERF in her research - Regional Level.  

As a Master Teacher in SPED, her experience involves handling learners with difficulty in hearing, a sports coach in Athletics for Para Games in Division, Region and National level; at the same time, mentoring SPED teachers and indulge her sign language skills to her learners, colleagues in school, parents and other agencies through workshops and trainings. She is also one of the regional and national resource speakers in Special Education particularly on Deaf Education. 

As a Fulbright -DAI scholar, Sharon wishes to explore the good practices, techniques, and approaches in teaching spelling in Sign Language for the deaf learners to increase comprehension skills of her deaf learners and in inclusive education.
