Last week, on March 27, Judge Cyrus B. Goco launched his book titled “Competition Law Analysis: A Comparative Approach” in partnership with the Fulbright Commission in the Philippines and REX Bookstore, Inc. The book launch is the second Fulbright Perspectives event, following Toym Imao’s “Creative Protest: The Artist as Activist.”
Co-authored by Patricia Jasmine C. Alcoba, Competition Law Analysis seeks to raise the appreciation of the factors and considerations underlying the decision-making processes of different competition jurisdictions and contributes to the budding discourse surrounding competition policy in the Philippines.
The event was attended by lawyers, judges, firm partners, experts and influential people in the field of law. Honorable Arsenio M. Balisacan, Chairman of the Philippine Competition Commission, delivered a message during the launch.
